The National Guard is looking for future leaders
of the Army National Guard. By entering the Army National Guard Officer
Candidate School (OCS) program you have an opportunity to become a leader
of tomorrow's Army National Guard. The skills and training that you
acquire as an OCS candidate help prepare you for the challenges that lay
ahead as a commissioned officer. As a commissioned officer you will
acquire leadership and management skills that are in high demand in the
military as well as in your civilian career.
Region Delta is a four-state region (Alabama, Kentucky, Mississippi,
and Tennessee) developed under TASS
dedicated to providing the Army Reserve and the Army National Guard with
the best trained Reserve Component soldiers the United States has to
offer. Although Region Delta is responsible for training numerous soldiers in
a wide variety of MOSs, this site is dedicated solely to the mission of
producing our Army's leaders of tomorrow through the region's Officer
Candidate School (OCS) program.
The 2nd Battalion (OCS), 200th Regiment will
develop and evaluate the leadership potential of officer candidates in
Region D and produce graduates who possess the requisite skills,
knowledge, attitudes and leadership ability to serve as a Second
Lieutenant in the United States Army.
